camp echo day 1

its been soooooo long since i last blogged because i am so swamped and drained with work :( this makes esther a very unhappy girl! i really hope this will tide over soon. there has been so many things that i would like to update here, but im so constrained..boo...

well, let me start with my church camp! ive been intending to do some sort of an individual "camp echo". 6 days of camp is obviously insufficient and hence im trying to "stretch" the goodness of the camp for as long as i can, hehe ;)

day 1~

thank God first of all for a safe trip up to malacca. the aircon in the bus broke down briefly, there were a few hiccups with checking in, but on the whole, we can only say thank God :) i was sooooo looking forward to the rest of the week!

highlight? when i arrived and approached the playground, i suddenly felt someone hugging my legs! *warm-fuzzy-feeling* heehee!~

seriously, who would have known? it can only be the working of the Lord...

Isaiah 55:8-9  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

most of all, i thank God for the precious time of quietness i could have with Him at the end of the day...

will update more on spiritual lessons learnt in the subsequent echos~ :)

hope you have all been well!

"And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will i save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong" Zechariah 8:13

Whatever happens, the Lord will save us and we shall not fear but have our hands strengthened!
