work!

ill be starting work tml! my first official and proper job. well, thank God for His provision, especially at a time like this. at first, i was pretty much hesitant and unsure.. is this God's will for me? after some pondering and discussion with some pple, like PP and JH (heh), i realise that it is indeed an answer to a prayer for a job that allows me to not work on sundays, to go YF, and to attend church camp.

may i remember this verse, which was what pointed me to making the final decision:

Deuteronomy 4:9  Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;

Lord, may you help me to do what you want me to do, to be a beacon of light in where you have placed me, to do my best and minister to those that you send in the course of my work. actually, have alot of fears and worries, but as i have shared with my group on sat, im clinging on the promises in Psalm 23, that God will provide for all my physical, spiritual, relational and emotional needs!

Psalms 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

today, during pre-singspiration, i was brought to attention the last verse Praise the Saviour...

Then we shall be where we would be,

Then we shall be what we should be,

Things that are not now, nor could be,

Soon shall be our own.

How cryptic! but upon deeper thought, it is a fine description of Christ's soon return...

Luge away!

 

 

just before i start work (tml!) and in celebration of PP finishing his exams, we went to try out the luge at SENTOSA! it sure was a good and timely break, spending some quality time with each other, which we have not had for quite some time! i enjoyed the skyride, the beautiful scenery,the mild adrenaline rush from the luge, and most of all, the company la :) i was so thankful for dSLR to be able to take in some of the nice sights along the way!

thank God for bringing all of you into my life. thank u for the fun, laughter, love, concern, friendship and fellowship that all of you have blessed me with. it is so much more than i can ask for!

两姐妹

姐，did you know that we have appeared on newspaper before? haha, we're famous! LOL :) according to the journalist, he says: 6 岁的林恩慧与林恩玮两姐妹，也是其中未来小画家。

this is such an unexpected and funny discovery. i was going thru our childhood photos, and i wanted to scan in this when i discovered the article underneath :)

anyways, something has been accomplished, and it surprisingly matches with what we were wearing 21 years ago! :)

 

i hope you like it! i literally bled while working on this :p  ive always feared that the sewing machine needle would one day go thru my finger and my fears came thru today :( but well, i truly enjoyed the process, sewing and thinking back on some of our memories (maybe that's how i poked my finger heehehe). thank God for a sister like you. sisters forever! haha!
