God sent His son, they called Him Jesus
He came to love, heal, and forgive.
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
Because He lives, All fear is gone.
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living just because He lives.
today was Easter and we began the day with a sunrise service at Kent Ridge Park. it was a blessed time and i was thankful for the time to reflect and give thanks for what Christ did for me. i prayed a simple prayer not to be distracted by "things" such as my camera, the sunrise, the birds twitching, cute babies....all in all, it is a simple but beautiful blessing to rejoice in the hope that i have, in the midst of His creation.
have been encouraged by Joan who shares much about her thoughts about her walk with God etc on her blog. today, "victory" was the word on my mind. for those who remember, i was looking lifeless last sunday due to some issues, and at that point of time, victory was the last thing i thought was possible. but now, after looking back, what we have overcomed and been blessed with, is truly a testimony of the victory that He gives!

As i was listening to the message, the Pr John spoke about how the evil men had some form of belief that Christ would rise again and placed soldiers to guard it against Christ's disciples. But rather ironically the disciples did not even believe about Christ's resurrection when the women came to tell them. Pray that we may have a faith that believes what God says.
Indeed the victory over sin and death gives us hope, to be able to face tomorrow!
